DESCRIPTION
Ancient oil painting on panel created by the Modenese painter Gaetano Pancaldi in the mid-twentieth century which depicts a landscape of the Emilian countryside in spring, probably a study for a larger painting.
The representation of nature and daily life were among the artist's favorite subjects, whowas very active and well-known in the Modena area due to his activity as a poster designer for the Communist Party of Modena and the numerous exhibitions he held.
