DESCRIPTION
Oil painting on wood by the Piedmontese painter Delfino Gagnor (1896-1970) with a still life subject, complete with carved wooden frame. Part of a collection of paintings by the same artist available in our Ebay shop. Signed and dated 1940 on the back.
Delfino Gagnor (Borgone di Susa, 1896 - Condove, 1970) , moved to Salbertrand (TO) in 1925. He works on the lakes of Como, Maggiore, Garda and Cadore. He is remembered as the "painter of the Susa valley". In 1927 he exhibited at the Promotrice, in 1953 he moved to Condove, in 1959 he won the gold medal of the municipality of Turin with the work "Notturno".
