Very fine porcelain lamp in the shape of owls with glass eyes which was used with a perfume diffuser against the smell of cigarettes. The bulb of the light bulb heated the perfume which was poured inside through the small hole in the top. It diffuses a soft and warm light. An object little known in Italy but much loved and collected in northern Europe.

German 1940s vintage ceramic owls lamp with glass eyes. Essential
oils or perfume can be put in the well on the side - the bulb heats the
oil/perfume so that the smell is carried around the room. These lamps were used to disguise the smell of cigarettes and pipes.
