Part of a large collection of Spanish paintings that we recently purchased and that you can find in the dedicated section of our shop.

Biography of the painter:
Josè Hernandez Herranz was an antiques dealer and painter active during the second half of the 20th century in Madrid, and for decades the owner of an antiques shop in the Rastro (the local antiques market).
The intense light, the bright colors, and a gentle vision of the world often full of flowers, are the distinctive features of his paintings. A student of Vicente Segura and influenced by the Spanish painting of the 20th century led by Sorolla, José Herranz was a refined and delicate painter of impressionist taste, little known but of great depth.
