Ancient watercolor painting on wood created by the Modenese painter Gaetano Pancaldi (1922-2014) which depicts the Emilian hills in winter so dear to the artist. Note the "frost" effect , a typical technique of the artist.
The representation of nature and daily life were among the artist's favorite subjects, who was very active and well-known in the Modena area due to his activity as a poster designer for the Communist Party of Modena and the numerous exhibitions he held.
