Detail of a panel painting created by the Modenese painter Gaetano Pancaldi (1922-2014) in the mid-twentieth century, landscape seen from the river bank and finished with the "frost" technique typical of the Emilian artist which consists in creating the "cracks" effect of ice" on the surface of the table. Signed.
The representation of nature and daily life were among the artist's favorite subjects, who was very active and well-known in the Modena area due to his activity as a poster designer and the numerous exhibitions he held. A tireless painter, Pancaldi worked with unchanged passion until recent years.
