Signed and dated '65.
Created with the "frost technique" to obtain the ice effect in some areas of the pictorial surface, this technique consisted of placing the still fresh painting in the actual cold and then working on it subsequently. This effect was invented by the painter Pancaldi and appears in many of his works starting from the 1960s.
The representation of nature and daily life were among the artist's favorite subjects, who was very active and well-known in the Modena area due to his activity as a poster designer for the Communist Party of Modena and the numerous exhibitions he held.
