Author: Giulio Da Milano (Nice, 1895 - Turin, 1991) was an Italian graphic artist, painter and teacher.
He was a pupil of Giacomo Grosso and made his debut with a one-man show at the Friends of Art in 1927. His mature style can be said to be post-impressionist with clear Cezenian influences was compared to the experiences of the Turin group of 6. He dealt extensively with printing, layout and various forms of typographic illustration. He taught for many years at the graphic school of Turin.
