Author: Livio Pezzato was born in Lonigo in 1935. At 18 he joined the financial police. In the corps he attended the high speed school in Rome and, for this reason, he was used as a chase pilot for smugglers. His approach to art began during his period in finance; in fact, assigned to the lieutenant command of S. Maria Maggiore in the upper Ossola valley, also known as the "valley of painters", he began to frequent the ateliers of illustrious painters. Later he was transferred to the command of Aosta, where he retired after six years of service. Self-taught. He has participated in numerous national and international artistic events. He has held several solo exhibitions in the most important Italian cities.
