Author: Severino Furletti (Turin, 1866 - Turin, 1870)
Born in Turin on 22 August 1886. Self-taught. He exhibited for the first time at the "Pro Cultura ed Arte" exhibition in Turin, in 1925. Then he participated in the Friends of Art Exhibition held in the same city in 1928. He dealt with landscape, portrait and genre painting; oil painting and watercolor. His works: "Portrait of the Head of Government", property of the comm. Silvestri; an album of historical drawings, property of the Duke of Pistoia. He illustrated the Turin Guide for the "L'Italia Monumentale" series and published an album of architectural drawings. (from AM Comanduccu, ed. 1962)
Subject: view of the medieval village in the Valentino park in Turin. Signed lower right and curiously in the center where the name "Severino Furletti" is shown in the flag insignia.
