Landscape by the Piedmontese painter Delfino Gagnor (1896-1970).
Signed lower right.

Delfino Gagnor (Borgone di Susa, 1896 - Condove, 1970), moved to Salbertrand (TO) in 1925. He works on the lakes of Como, Maggiore, Garda and Cadore. He is remembered as the "painter of the Susa valley". In 1927 he exhibited at the Promotrice, in 1953 he moved to Condove, in 1959 he won the gold medal of the municipality of Turin with the work "Notturno".

Known as "painter of the Susa Valley", Mr Gagnor worked in the lake Como, lake Maggiore and Garda as well as in the Susa valley in the Italian Alps.
