DESCRIPTION
Beautiful colored pencil drawing created on a "duty-free postal card for the republican armed forces" by the painter Gaetano Pancaldi (1922-2014) entitled "Turin from my window 27-4-1944".
On the back there is a dedication to Pina (the wife).
The drawings we propose are an interesting testimony to the youthful activity of the painter from Piumazzo di Castelfranco Emilia in which the constant effort to improve the technique can be observed. The supports on which they were made are often waste paper due to the lack of resources during the war period.
